Unfortunately, this test had to be disqualified.

Too many missing explanations. More than 10 explanations simply repeat the correct answer. E.g. "Tyranny", "Handkerchief", etc.

This kind of test could benefit hugely by providing students with easy ways to remember the correct spelling in future.

Additionally, there are minor formatting issues. E.g. "," and ";" are used interchangeable as list deliminators. "Acquaintance; camouflage; bellwether; conscientious.", "Tyrannosaurus, aardvark, macaque, mongoose.".

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with you. Explanations are important in general, but for this topic, their usage is limited to the correct answers. It is quite impossible to find a universal way to remember frequently misspelled words. According to neuroscience, the best ways to study are by testing yourself and using spaced repetition. These could be done with this test. Another good practice is to use lively visual metaphors and simple analogies, however, it is better to be connected with someone's personal experience. Imagine aardvark sitting on your couch or suddenly entering your room. That is why you scream "Aaa", and it makes "A" in the beginning doubling. However, it is impossible to predict what your imaginative aardvark better doing for you to remember its spelling. In this case, it is much better to give freedom to someone's imagination than to make them remember your metaphors and analogies. Thank you!
