Thank you for taking the effort to submit your test for the contest.
Unfortunately, this test will not be able to receive a prize:

1.Missing explanations. All explanations simply repeat the correct answer. E.g.#q1, #q2, #q3, #q5, #q6, #q7 etc.

Thank you. It is a language quiz - I didn't think much explanation is needed; you have to choose the right word or phrase in this one. And "explanation" is often in the question itself anyway.

The original verdict was incorrect. Your Quiz is no longer disqualified. However, we cannot guarantee that it will receive a prize.

Tall Panda Thank you for this.

Hi! Thanks for the quiz, I love loanwords - although most of these are quite uncommon in everyday speech ;)
However, there is a mistake in question #2:
"Forbidden" is absolutely not a loan from German "verboten", as they are both independent evolutions of a Proto-Germanic compound that has reflexes in nearly all Germanic languages. You can check it here: https://www.etymonline.com/word/forbid#etymonline_v_11776.

Cheers!

Hi. Thank you for your comment! "Verboten" is a loanword though, that's what was meant.

Ah ok, it makes sense. Sorry then! :)
