1. Indeed, using these photos might be an issue due to copyrights. However, these photos are spread across the internet and they are not exclusively in the websites you referenced. You can simply place a name of a one player from the test to internet search engines and you will find the same photos on dozens of websites. In addition, mentioned copyrights might refer to new and recently added photos as the website contains very old photos as well (e.g. Di Stefano).
2. As for explanations that they are taken from other sources. The fact that Bale came from Tottenham to Real Madrid as the most expensive player can’t be changed and all sports media outlets wrote about that.

1. I don't know what kind of search those photos you preferred. May be it was a simple search in Google. But that doesn't change the fact that those photos was copyrighted (see references in my previous comment).
2. I agree with the statement that facts can't be changed. But if it's possible to find "your" text WORD FOR WORD in other sites there is a copying.
