Thank you for taking the effort to submit your test for the contest.
Unfortunately, this test will not be able to receive a prize:

Poor formatting. Test was not designed for the platform. All answers are based on Yes or No, with "No" clearly intending to open up an explanation. E.g. #q1, #q30, etc.

Ok. Does the test not satisfy our requirements? Is the disqualification based on objective requirement reasons or is the "poor formatting" purely subjective?
I'm sure most people will this quiz edifying, it was rather refreshing for me. Great one!

Cheers! And good luck!

All the answers are yes
Busy Squirrel author
Thanks! That is true! I thought the quiz should serve as a means to teach, not necessarily to test per se. In this case the quiz will display a short answer and suggest further reading if you like the area. Best of luck! :)
Like it.

I don't think you understood how the contest was supposed to work
Busy Squirrel author
Ok, thanks for letting me know. Could you please explain what I am missing?
Shiny Unicorn
Busy Squirrel You were supposed to create a Quiz. Instead, what you made is a list of random trivia, the answers are all "Yes", there is no actual challenge, nor can you ever get anything right or wrong.
Busy Squirrel author
Shiny Unicorn What you say might be true, but in my understanding the functional criteria are as follows: (1) create a quiz, (2) that serves an educational purpose, (3) with at least 30 questions that have explanations.

(3) I do have 30 questions with explanations.

(1) I do have a quiz. Oxford learner's dictionary defines quiz as "a competition or game in which people try to answer questions to test their knowledge"[1] - in my case people answer binary questions. I believe one can test one's knowledge by being exposed to a question they do not know and being taught about it through selecting 'no'. Is this simpler than multiple choices of concrete, differing answers? Yes, of course (that's why I set the quiz tag to 'Basic'). But the real question is, does it serve an educational purpose? (see below)

(2) The quiz does have an educational purpose. Oxford learner's dictionary also starts the definition of education as "a process of teaching, training and learning..."[2]. One of the answer choices specifically says "no, teach me" - so every question empowers the quiz taker to be taught through a predefined answer as well as a reference to a book/resource (hence having an educational purpose).

I do of course understand your concern. The quiz does not have a 'real' challenge element. But does this strip it of its 'quiz' status? I would say no, but that is a matter best left to our judges (or perhaps, even philosophers). Nevertheless, I will take your feedback into consideration upon further enhancement of this quiz. I found your comment interesting as well as mentally stimulating and I sincerely wish you the best of luck with this competition. :)

Peanut is the good source of protein and good for health, not bad. Don't give people false information
Busy Squirrel author
Thank you for the comment. The information is not false, but there are multiple schools, each with its own claims. In our peanut example, I do not contest the source of protein or other benefits, I simply believe that the aflatoxins within peanuts (that seem to be linked to cancer) as well as the general rise in peanut intolerances / allergies are sufficient to justify relative 'unhealthyness'. On a personal level, removing peanuts has actually cured my chronic acne and that was the only change to my diet. Feel free to consult the source within the quiz explanation, or the following: 1 Sicherer SH, Munoz-Furlong A, Godbold JH, Sampson HA. Cool Deer
Busy Squirrel Thanks for the explanation. From the link, I've noticed that this Aflatoxin presence seen in the crops which are affected by aspergillus moulds. What about the normally produced peanuts? Is it healthy or not? And if you're saying that, aflatoxin presence is the reason for 'unhealthyness' of peanuts, what about the other crops that mentioned in the link? Is that unhealthy too?
Busy Squirrel author
Cool Deer I do not know what "normally grown" is. Neither did my quiz express any other crops within this quesion. But just as some consider saturated fats unhealthy, while others praise them, I believe the same applies for peanuts. In order to prove this fully, the entire world population would have to be tested. As such, if the advantages work for you and outweigh their disadvantages, you can continue to praise them.
Cool Deer
Busy Squirrel I just simply means that, by your logic, every crops like maize, wheat, etc which has aspergillus mould threat are bad for health because of aflatoxin presence. Is there anything unique for peanuts that makes it bad?

And sorry, by 'Normally grown' I meant that normally cultivated peanuts without any pest infection

This is no dynamism in the presentation of the possible answers. All answers follow one pattern
