Thank you for taking the effort to submit your test for the contest. Unfortunately, this test will not be able to receive a prize: Too many missing explanations. More than 10 explanations simply repeat the correct answer. E.g. #q1,#q2,#q3,#q6,#q7 etc.

8. Which of the following is essential for substitution reaction to take place? – Sunlight.
most of non-radical reactions are going without sunlight. it is posiible to take for example AIBN and high temperature and run a radical substitution reaction

Actually that's true but the question was on organic chemistry, so I was focusing on substitution reaction in Alkanes, the mistake is that I didn't specify.

Sweet GooseWhich question is the link related too, as I was setting I focused on the Kenyan Curriculum and IGCSE Edexcel curriculum,

And in both system they don't include the types of Isomerism indicated on the links, IGCSE Edexcel O-level, I am a teacher and my target group was the Kenyan high school students and The Olevel IGCSE Chemistry students, coz I am very conversant with there syllabus.

Questions have options that are not the only correct means answers is ambiguous , in many questions
Keen SwanOkay thanks, I will check it out, though am quite sure the answers are correct, I made them look alike the student have to be keen to note the difference.

Dark RamYes it's nice to think that way but like you asked what are alkanes and option was hydrocarbon with carbon carbon single bond another option was carbon hydrogen double bond and both are correct but your answer say only first is correct that is ambiguity
An alkane consists of hydrogen and carbon atoms arranged in a tree structure in which all the carbon–carbon bonds are single. Alkanes have the general chemical formula CₙH₂ₙ₊₂.

3.4.2 paragraph heat, light AND/OR radical initiators
– NO YES
Cycloalkanes are also isomers of alkenes. Also it posiible to talk about stereoisomers (RS isomerism, etc.)
